DDR Freak Forums Member Agreement

Membership Eligibility

To qualify for membership, you must supply a valid email address to which we will send confirmation of your application for membership. Once this email is received, you must follow the link provided to activate your account. Eligibility is withheld from individuals with deactivated or suspended accounts. Accounts may not be shared between individuals.

Personal Information and Posts

Your personal information and posts shall not:

• Infringe upon any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
• Include sexually explicit or offensive material, or links to such sites
• Include flames or flamebait, where a flame is defined as being defamatory, hateful, disrespectful to others, or unlawfully threatening. Click for examples.

Your personal information and posts shall:

• Follow the DDR Freak netiquette guidelines. Failure to do so may result in public outrage towards you.

Breach of Agreement

If these terms are violated, the following actions may be taken, depending on the severity of the offense:

1. A public warning may be posted.
2. A private warning, of value from one (1) to nine (9) points, shall be sent to the violating user. The exact value will depend on the severity of the violation.
3. When the user has reached nine (9) warning points, the offending party's account shall be permanently deactivated.

Furthermore, DDR Freak reserves the right to remove any material which it deems inappropriate or in violation of these terms. Finally, if you should indicate in any way that DDR Freak is not a community of which you wish to be a part, we will be more than happy to assist you in your endeavor.

DDR Freak Liability

Due to the real-time nature of the Forums, DDR Freak is not able to immediately remove posts in violation of the member agreement. DDR Freak is not responsible for the contents of any post and personal information of any member of DDR Freak. You are solely responsible or the content of your posts, and agree to hold harmless DDR Freak and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

DDR Freak also reserves the right to reveal the information supplied by you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
