The name Naoki Maeda is actually some sort of arrangement of the name "Konami", made into a name, so he could use it as his professional stage name or whatever. |
No, it's his name. His NAME. His "Hi, my name is Naoki" name. His. legal. name. He performs under many names but "Naoki Maeda" is his name.
And Crash! was about way before Extreme, and doesn't sound anything like a Naoki type song. The singing is way too Western, for one thing. |

Ok, everyone shut up and listen because I'm only going to say this one more time.
The list BeckC posted is accurate save for the two mistakes I pointed out. So I'm going to post a corrected version:
Naoki
Naoki Underground
Naoki 190
NM
NMR
DJ Rich featuring Tail Brothers
De-Sire
Divas
Stone Bros.
Uzi-Lay
No.9
NW260
180
190
190'
RE-Venge
Factor-X
Reven-G
KTz
Luv UNLIMITED
BLUE DESTROYERS
d-complex
mitsu-O
8bit
N&S
Note that many of these names refer to specific collaborations...E.g., Divas is the name of the singing group, but Naoki produces all their music.
In addition, the following are Naoki aliases:
Crystal Aliens
Fixx
Omega
Z
ZZ
200
270
290
Naoki has also produced the music for a number of songs that are credited under the singer's name, including:
All the BeForYou songs
La Senorita and Silent Hill, credited to Thomas Howard
Crash!, credited to Mr. Brian and the Final Band
He has also remixed/rearranged songs under the following names:
Big-O (Gradiusic Cyber AMD G5 Mix)
Mr. Dog (Gentle Stress AMD Sexual Mix)
Dr. Vibe (Don't Stop AMD 2nd Mix)
Rice C. (Jam Jam Reggae AMD Swing Mix)
DJ Kazu (Luv to Me AMD Mix)
1479 (Get Me In Your Sight AMD Cancun Mix)
Basically anything that's an "AMD Mix" is a Beatmania/IIDX song that Naoki took and made more "danceable" for DDR.
And for ultimate clarity, the following are not Naoki aliases:
2MB, U1 = U1 Asami
Tiger Yamato = Reo Nagumo (aka DJ Nagureo)
This list is complete and accurate as far as Naoki's work in DDR is concerned. Now you know and there's no need for further discussion or argument. _________________

No, but if you just take "Naoki M." (abbreviating his last name) and rearrange the letters, you get "Konami". I'm not saying it's not his real name, but if it is, the coincidence is interesting. _________________

I wonder if The Fixx are aware of this....
You remember The Fixx, right? Popular 1980s band famous for such hits as 1983's "Saved By Zero" and "One Thing Leads To Another" and 1990's "How Much Is Enough".....
