Trip Machine (luv mix)...song = okay to listen to.
Steps....nuff' said.
Others I can think of...
Songs Screwed Over by KOJ/KOA:
-Gentle Stress (AMD Sexual Mix)- the original on DDR Club and Beatmania is so much cooler.
-Don't Stop, the DDR version is jacked...
Steps screwed by Konami:
Love This Feelin' espicially Heavy
Miracle Moon
i feel...(only Heavy really)
rain of sorrow
Stay
Lovin' You
Hyper Eurobeat (should've been with the vocals more)
Crash!
Sky High Heavy
Rock Beat (Maniac/SSR) _________________

Really? I think they actually make perfect sense if you listen to the song really well. Then again, it's one of my very favorite songs. _________________

Healing Vision Angelic Mix- The original was a lot better. I don't like the heart monitor making all those beeps.
Trip Machine (luv mix)- The weirdest Trip Machine in my opinion.
MAX. (period)- It just sounds like a corny screwed up version of MAX 300 with a lame Paranoia sound effect put in the middle. I seriouly think Konami is running out of new ideas for songs. |

Max. ( period ) - I think everyone and their mother hates this song..i have yet to see one person who likes it ;_;
Dynamite Rave ( B4ZA Beat Mix ) - Oh god....
Heaven - Yeah the cut in the song is really REALLY bad
Trip Machine Survivor - Ewwww
thats all i can think of

Last track on Classical Speed, 'nuff said. Just listen to it.

OK, you people are ignorant, dancemania was in charge of all licensed tracks that appear in all ddr games, not konami, k, thanks bye.
However, one song konami did screw over was V. Winter is a million times better. _________________

Well make this a first then. I like MAX., it's a neat experimental track. Although, the mix is a little dirty - they should've paid more attention to the equalizer.
But I'll put in my complaints:
Paranoia Survivor/PSM: WTF? does 20BPM make THAT much difference? If I had to choose, it'd be 270, though.
The legend of MAX: Lame excuse for a Max song. It doesn't *really* go over 300bpm until after the break, and even then, it's only technically 333bpm. Listen to it sometime. |

I like Max. And to whoever said about them not looking at the equalizer: Thats the point The "Lame" paranoia 180 clip in the background is a tribute to DDR 1st mix, of which that was the hardest song.
I really don't like the steps to Vanity Angel... Too hard to PA And Sakura Oni just doesn't seem right after doing heavy. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

paranoia eternal
speedy mixes
all the other things you guys mention that if screwed up, were not konami's fault. |

Speedy Mixes=better than originals.
MAX. is different, and my least favorite Max, but it is still o.k.
The only thing that sticks out are Paranoia Eternals steps (both of them).
They were crap on 5th and still crap on Extreme. _________________

Hmmmmmm I dont mind the speedy mixes to be honest with you...has more of a feeling flow than the slower original ones...gets you hyped up.....but the Paranoia Eternal steps you mentioned.....they don't seem all that bad...I suppose? Though they are strange at times, I dont see anything wrong with them.
(I was just thinking about this topic...and I think I'll keep my thought to myself..) _________________

It would be hard for Strictly Business to not have "uninteresting" steps given that it was a 1.0 song, and they really hadn't gotten into the flow by then.
I can't stand most of the 4th Mix sped up remixes of 2nd & 3rd Mix songs. Bleh.
For some reason, I think Paranoia Survivor sounds cooler than most Paranoias, and all Paranoias are better than Eternal (with the exception of Eternal, it is in fact worse than itself, being infinitely bad).
They need bag with that nearly subharmonic buzz that really makes bagpipe music distinct. It's too obviously synthesized. Though, I'm not sure it'd sound cooler (or be humanly playable) with real bagpipes. I know rather little of the instruments. |
