so um. i finally organized my school's ddr club. and i'm gonna collect club dues and go out and buy a bunch of softpads for people to play on.

now my friends and i that play on heavy and higher all have our own pads that can take the abuse, so the highest these pads will see is *maybe* 5-6 footers, rarely, because most people at my school suck.

anyway, does anyone know of a site where i can buy many(maybe 25) softpads cheap? possibly get a wholesale discount, or free shipping or something?

we're going to get old computers out of storage for stepmania, the school owns 1 ps2 with supernova, i have access to about 4-5 other ps2's, i can get ahold of some xboxes each month, and i know of 1 xbox 360 that i can bring, and then when it comes out, ill have access to hottest party

i say i'll "have access" because i dont actually own a videogame system anymore, sold them off to fuel my old addiction to WoW(i regret it a lot :T)

but i have a laptop with stepmania also, with connections for a tv, and so does my friends, so we have those as well

Awesome! I am assuming you are talking high school... That's great.. Schools need to have more options for people to stay active.... and don't yapper on about team sports, because unless you are very athletic you might as well forget about those... I'm athletic, but I suck at sports.. And i'm sure im not the only one.

I just finished my undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, and staying fit and helping others stay fit is very important to me. Keep up the good work.. You should be very proud of what you are doing.

Hey dude, hear's an ebay store which has alot of cheap soft pads.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Playstation-2-Nonslip-Dance-Revolution-Pad-PS2-DDR-Mat_W0QQitemZ320152061127QQihZ011QQcategoryZ11319QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
1 cent each but 15$ shipping.

Also they say

Do you need a LARGE AMOUNT of this item (at least 10) for a school, group, event, or just because? Click on the picture above for our bulk request form. We may be able to get you a fantastic deal, and can create a custom Ebay listing for you!

So I'd buy from them, their soft pads and you can save when you buy from bulk. Good luck
