I thought editing the name of the folder would alter the name, but apparently it doesn't, so my question is, how do you do it? I can't open up an .sm file to edit it in there (if that's how you do it), so I don't know.
Help please. =P |

go to edit, and pick the song u want, while you're at the screen where u can change the arrows and whatnot, click on escape and edit song info. i think that should work.

Just tell your computer to open .sm files in Notepad.
BTW, seeing as you have a lot of questions about R21, I think we should have an official R21 help thread.

theres alot of other things about using notepad/wordpad to edit files also that is very nice, like changing beat 0 offsets, initial bpm setup, and getting it to load banners/backgrounds after the fact. i'm quite familiar with all of this, since i've spent alot of time screwing around within .sm files fixing the above problems.
i just dont know how to get bg/bn to work on r23, wich our dumbass arcade attendants put on, now it cuts off most of my good r21 files. though the registry is perfect, so thats real nice.
sorry for the rambling.
