This might seem ridiculous (and it is), but it's something I really would like a definitive answer on, if possible.
You see, my friends and I are having a bit od a dispute about the pronunciation of "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!" Specifically, the second word. Now, while I personally believe that Tatakae should be pronounced "Ta-tah-KAY," they absolutely insist that it's pronounced "ta-tah-KYE."
I personally believe that it's "ta-ta-KAY," because it would be romanized as "tatakai" if it were pronounced the way they say it is. They, on the other hand, say that if I'm right, the kiragana would have been written with an extended "ka" symbol.
We even sat down and listened to the opening sequence (where the characters shout the title out loud), and couldn't come to an agreement. The accent was too thick for us to come to a consensus. | You're right. It's "ta-ta-KAY". |

Got EBA as a Xmas Eve present! Up to Sweatin', last stage, got all O's on all stages so far, unlocked 2 bonus stages so far.
Also, You're The Inspiration is SAD. Strangly, I heard it playing over the speakers while shopping yesterday (after Sk8er Boi played). If you don't even FEEL sad, you have a pure, black, concrete soul... |

if you go by actual japanese pronunciation, its "tah-tah-kah-eh" or "ta-ta-ka-ay"ã(same pronunciation, just different ways of writing it in english characters). the e is never used to elongate something; only i's and u's (as in sensei "sen-say" and hontou "hone-toe"). the e is always pronounced like "eh" regardless of the word. example such as the word for "answer": çããï¼ããã, or kotae, or koh-tah-eh).

Unlocked Survivor & JUST cleared JJF on Hard Rock last night like at 10:30 PM. Got Kahn, but he dances like the girls.
BTW, I'm a Hero's Hero. I'm THAT awesome. But back to the game. Need about 5 million more to rank up.
& while we're talkin' pronouncing JP words, is Hentai "hen-tay", like sensei? As in me, teh Hentai Sensei?! |

Just need to get 5 more A's on Hard Rock (Survivor, ABC, Rock This Town (HAD A FULL COMBO & THE LAST SPINNER RUINED IT!!), Canned Heat, & The Anthem). |

hentai = hen-tye
sensei = sen-say
anyway, im on the last song (jumpin jack flash?) on sweatin. this is crazy because of how fast the timer counts down. you cant really miss ANYTHING or you fail. im sooo close to the beat divas! _________________

I just beat the game on Hard Rock, because I'm a slacker. But I do have stars on every stage on every difficulty. Woooooo. _________________

Well, the time has finally come, guys.
This was posted by Reenee on Bemanistyle's main page:
Degenki Online* has posted a 2007 Nintendo release schedule that outlines game releases for the year. And one of them just happens to be Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Tamashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! No specific date was set but the only detail out there is that the game supports multiplayer play.
The time has come! Prepare to begin tapping and spinning all over again. I for one can't wait.
*This site is in Japanese, of course. _________________

| Yeah, I'll bet they'll use the stuff they used in the US version (skipping intros, saving music, etc.). Can't wait! Wi-Fi FTW!! |

Sweet Ouedan 2 Mini Japanese lesson. Japanese people like to sound off every vowel. Like the letter n is pronounced unm
Hentai = He n Thai
Konnichiwa = Ko n ni chi wa
Hard Rock isn't hard :X it's basically like the 3rd difficulty except backwards. _________________
