Blueshark bar = flimsy or no?

I've been wondering the same thing.

Edit= I also have been wondering about the size (width) of the bar. Is it wide enough?

TranceDDR from the Mymybox has a Blueshark with the bar and has recorded some videos of it in action. Decide if the bar is flimsy by your standards. It doesn't look like it's too flimsy, the pad is just moving because it's on carpet.

Mm...looks pretty good to me. I think I weigh less than this guy anyway, so it should be good. biggrin.gif

Although his Myspace says that he's 18, he's actually 14 so yeah. biggrin.gif
...and I thought you did everything barless? Decided to use it?

You guys pretty much convinced me to try it. biggrin.gif
In any case, it won't hurt if I get the one with the bar, now, would it?

Yeah, I had this problem too. The pad got here and the box was utterly destroyed. It was double-boxed, but because the outside was so smashed, a lot of the foam was dislodged and the pad ended up crushing the cable from the pad to the PS2. Every once in a while, it acts like the start button is being held down because the cord has a short in it somewhere. I wrote to them multiple times asking for some kind of fix, or a replacement, or maybe I could buy a new cord. Nothing.

And that's after the fact I never got a confirmation notice, or a shipping notice, or a tracking number. The pad just showed up one day. Seriously, good pads or not, they have major support issues.

They ship poorly. No tracking numbers = I got cheated out of a replacement Xbox control box.

I actually decided it would be worth it to get the $400 GXG with the bar, but I can't find a date on their site saying when it'll be back in stock. Anyone have an idea? I can only afford it if I work out a deal for Christmas.

I figure I want something as reliable as possible, and word of mouth on the GXG seems the strongest.

This is worth the bump...Bluesharks (with bar, at least) will be available for pre-order this weekend! I've been contacting MyMyBox. biggrin.gif They'll be in stock Dec 15 or 18, apparently.

Oh, I'd also like to commend MyMyBox for their customer service. All my emails were answered within one business day. E7.gif

Hmm...did you send your emails to support@mymybox.com?
If you did, then I dunno. Who knows what's going on down there.

I ordered them the minute they came out, which was about four and a half hours ago. Well, all I can say is that I definitely got the discount. E4.gif

List Price: $399.95
Sale Price: $379.95
You Save: $20 (5%)

The sale price is the discount; if I ordered right now I'd get it also, but hey, what's $20.00?

Yeah my mom doesn't want to get me one because "she already bought me a nice mat last month." E15.gif I've convinced my dad though because I told him that it was pretty much just like the arcade pads and that they came with a bar. I might order one soon. E1.gif

Haha, I haven't gotten a new mat in three and a half years, when I got my Ignition 2.0s. One of them finally ripped open last week. So convincing them was easy, especially after winning a piano competition. E15.gif

Yeah, but you're paying for them. If I got one it'll be my parents that have to pay. I need to convince my mom...somehow. erm.gif
