One single spam post annoys you? You can't just look past it? I can understand if we were dealing with 25% of the threads created being spam, sure. That would be annoying. But as it is, I rarely see any spam, and when there is one, people bump the damn topic like a bunch of idiots. If you don't want to see the topic, don't post in it and before you know it it'll be off the first page. |

Or just PM a mod and they will lock it, rather than people post in there like morons. |

I suggest that you make an announcement on the RC board that anyone who replies to an obvious spambot gets a 3-point (or more) warning.

The only reason I suggested an announcement on RC is because I figured that's where most of the spamming is taking place. Of course, I rarely read the other forums, so I wouldn't know how pervasive it is elsewhere. But yeah, if you feel a global announcement is necessary (and I believe it would be the first GA you've made in the history of the boards), feel free.
I just think it's annoying reading these posts that are trying to be funny by attempting to "pwn" spambots when it's obvious the bots A) don't care (as they've already gotten their spam out) and b) probably aren't even human to begin with.

Yeah, they appear with about as much frequency on other boards (DDR Chit-Chat - "WILD SEX GIRLZ LOL").
