Allright, I'm looking for some DDR mats, and I know Cobalt Flux is like OMFG TEH PWNAGE!!!111, but the problem is, that in order for me to get one to the point it's usable, I'd have to build a bar for it, ship it here, and probibly buy an arcade kit, and a control box for PC and Xbox which would run me about $450, which isn't what a casual player wants to pay. I mean, I would love a CF if I could have it cheaply the way I need it, but, that won't happen.
Now, I was wondering, what overall is the best value. What is good for the money, without sacraficing quality entirely? I mean, would buying the ebay pads, and just fixing them up be worth it? Or, the Blueshark, with the bar?
I know this might seem like a "Which Pad Should I Buy" topic, but that's not what I'm trying to get at. I'm simply wondering, what would be the best values possible. |

Well, if you can afford it, go with the blueshark with the bar. If you can't, then you'll have to get a barless pad like the tx150 or tx4000 and make y0our own, cause as we all know, the tx250 and tx6000 bars are p.o.s. _________________

Do you mean the whole pad or just the bar? Once I buy the bar (which might be by tonight), the total will have been less than 200. I'd say mabey 175 _________________

for the money BNS fusion pads are pretty solid. they now come with PS/Xbox/USB from what i understand.

here is the thicker one with the bar, not sure if it has USB, but it should have PS and Xbox

they may bot be OMG LEET CF, but they are 1/2 the price and are very good pads. the metal sheet top requires that one breaks it in a bit to looses the touches with the metal contact and sensor. but other than that, VERY VERY well priced, and quality is good. |
