There was this site called Paranoia that had all of the packs as .zips, but it's down now.

This site has most of the simfile packs (but not all of them) in .rar format.

Whats .rar? Is it like .torrent?

I agree. Torrents are the stupidest idea to ever touch base with the internet. Don't have bandwidth to host a normal file to a large base of people? Don't host it. I hate torrents, the only time they are good with when there are about 1000 seeders, and almost 1 or 2 leechers. I've messed with torrents too much and got way too irritatted with them. I'd host one for you, but my FTP server takes forever to upload stuff. Find someone who can out of the kindness of their heart.

Its nice to be understood.

.rar format is like the .zip format.

I suggest IZarc for opening .rars. It's freeware, and has the most compatability.

I was never entirely sure of the difference between .rar and .zip, except that they were simular enough to be easy to know how to use. There isn't anything wrong with the winRAR extractor either. If i had more bandwidth, i'd gladly host them for people. but I only have 50 gb of bandwidth a month, and that doesn't go far with all the people who would want them.

Like Synaesthesia said, torrents suck because people suck. If it's a well-seeded file (Or set of files), then yes, it's awesome because you get to max out your down pipe. But if there's only a couple of seeders (In the case of very new or very old torrents), then the experience won't be as enjoyable, and with the attitude you have, I'm not sure you'd be the kind of person to download a torrent and leave it running to help other peoples' experiences.
