i have abroken tx-1000
if i tape my soft pad to it
will it mess up my soft pad
i like the way that metal pads don't slide as much
so i thought this might be a good solution
other than pad damage
help
Well you have to use periods. But, I don't see a problem with that EXCEPT for the screws. The screws may rip the bottom of the pad, and we all know that that won't be good. _________________

AIM me during the day EST on tuesday or wednesday. We'll fix your TX (and make it sparkle and work well if you have an extra 20 bucks and a way to the hardware store)
mouseish is right. Broken metal pads can be fixed in almolst all cases. I bet your problem is one of these: burned foil, soildering becoming loose, control box bug.
If your soildering points have becomed loose, you can fix the problem by resoildering the broken joints. If you want, you can also rewire the whole pad with cat5 wire (no more soildering problems).
If you have broken control box, just buy a new control box. It shouldnt be that expensive.
