Who is Captain Jack?

One of my favorite warm up songs is Captain Jack.
I was wondering who the heck is Captain Jack?

Is it Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean? That's the only Captain Jack I've ever heard of.

Or is it a dj name or something?

Captain Jack = musician (as in "actual outside-of-DDR" musician) who does dance music. It's not bad, actually, but nothing I've heard from him tops his eponymous song.

from what i remember, he's some guy who was in the military for a short time, lived in miami for a little bit, then moved to germany and became a superstar

So he is a real artist outside of DDR? Never heard of him do you know where he uhh

performs? Does he do dj work or just produce for clubs? ive been to a few clubs and i don't think ive heard any of his songs

Well, he's more popular in Europe, or Germany at least. Maybe that's why you never heard of 'em.
