				| I believe that the song"Look to the Sky" Has the most meaning in DDR
 These lyrics courtesy of www.animelyrics.com

 "S.O.T.A.

 Feeling sad and lonely
 Cause I can't find you
 Call your telephone
 And there's never no answer
 Said you love me
 Kissed me
 We were in heaven
 Said I'm sorry
 Love you, want you forever

Every night I look at the sky
 Call your name
 And wonder where you are
Every night I look at the sky
 Baby, miss you
 Won't you come back"

				| Hmm perhaps, but I think the most emotional song on DDR is HVAM. _________________

				| HVAM= Heaving Vision Angelic Mix.
I'd say the most emotional song is probably Moonlight Shadow. It has something to do with the girl's boyfriend getting shot when they were walking at night.

				| I personally gotta go with butterfly. The lyrics seem pretty thoughtfull...searching for a man, all across japan...just to find that samuri . Heh, that and it's the first song that i ever played with my girlfriend on DDR. She ended up loving it, and i've always had a passion for the song....so it's more than just the lyrics that make the song meaningfull to me. | |

				| I guess Breakdown represents me: English translations:
 1! 2! 1, 2, 3, 4!

These days you've crossed the line,
Who cares 'bout RULEs you have in mind-
I'm gonna break out of this world
And fly high to the skies!

You can never forgive anything I do
Don't you see I wanna be free too
Us together is nothing you need
 Let's just crash this party!

Be always there strong and fierce
For I can only think of you
 Won't believe there's an end-
For the distance let's find a true tomorrow!

BREAK DOWN! Blasting what I love: MUSIC!
Heightening TENSION, send it all to outer space!
ENGINE maxxed out, gonna jump on this jet stream
Every bit of anger and sorrow- get it all out of my life!

[Hey girl! Your sad story is tiring me out
 I don't need it- you've gotta be like low-LEVEL?]

LET'S GO! Until I'm about to explode-
Until I can't hear a word, gonna cut through to your heart
LET'S GO! I'm maxxed out- You can never fight me-
Cuz I'll never lose! Cuz I just want to be yours!

I also feel that HOT LIMIT is very meaningful!!!!

				| Moonlight Shadow is quite meaningful
 =================
The last that ever she saw him
carried away by a moonlight shadow
he passed on worried and warning
carried away by a moonlight shadow

Lost in a riddle that Saturday Night
far away on the other side
he was caught in the middle of a desperate fight
and she couldn't find how to push through

The trees that whisper in the evening
carried away by a moonlight shadow
sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow.

All she saw was a silhouette of a gun,
Far away on the other side.
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through.

 I stay, I pray
See you in heaven one day.

 Four A.M. in the morning
carried away by a moonlight shadow
 I watched your vision forming
carried away by a moonlight shadow

accually R&P promotes drugs look check the lyrics

Run now quickly doin' my thing
We're on the case, we like the man for the behaviour
 What you doing over there,
Come on let's do this, rip the air

You'll all feel this latest groove
And then just don't know what to do
Hey bro, what you got in your hand?
Man that's amazin', put it away it's gonna
Go bang, blow my brains, HA
I'm gonna soak 'em in pain
 With the S.D.X

 So...
Let's leave a little bit of change
 The tramps can fear us
Stay boarded up in their special caves
Just how far are they gonna stay sane
 Cut the drugs, uh!

				| Rythm and Police does not promote drugs, it's about cops chasing a drug dealer/person with drugs. It's actually from some old japanese cop drama, there was a thread about it about 6 months ago, try and find it, it's pretty informative.
But as for the most meaningful song for me... I would have to say Freckles, mostly because it reminds me of my girlfriend (who has a lot of Freckles) we are together mostly because of DDR, and for traditions sake, we always make sure to play that song when we go to the arcades together.

Whenever I hear Sobakasu Freckles...I'm reminded of Kenshin and how bad Engish dubs really are...

I agree with the other posters that Moonlight Shadow is by far one of the best 'meaningful songs' ever. Then there's Never Ending Story (which makes me think of the movie every time) and even though I have yet to look up the lyrics or translation to Destiny Lovers, that song always puts me in a good mood and is 'meaningful' to me

				| Colors is pretty emotional because the singer is very depressed: "I'm the color of blue."
 So is Feeling of Love.
