We don't allow "general chat" threads because that's what a chat room is for. It wastes our bandwidth (bandwidth = money). Choose a topic that you want to discuss (more specific than just "DDR") and make sure that there isn't already a thread about it. Check beyond the first page. If there isn't, then you can post it.
