How lond did it take you to get to Heavy?

I played on basic for awhile, I wasn't very confident in my DDR abilities. But then I played on Standard for just a short bit. It took me 3 months to get to heavy though, but once I got there I started playing level 8 songs almost a week after I started on heavy

Now its level 8's and 9's for me!

I suck though(my nickname is 1.5)I've been playing songs 1.5 alot and when I went to the funstation tourney no mods allowed and I got my azz kicked by FLAN in staten island.So now i am playing all my old heavy songs again and it is really hard.And I know i am gonna get the reply's "back in my day we didnt have speed mods and we hard to pay 1.50 for three songs"
