DDR Max2 had the biggest impact on me. DDR 3rd Mix didn't get a chance because my arcade replaced 3rd with Max2 as soon as I was starting to get interested in DDR. The longetivity of DDR Max2's presence allowed to me to get acustomed to the song list, and slowly yet surely I discovered all the good songs.

I was born on 3rd Korean 2, raised on USA, weaned off on 4th Plus, impacted most strongly by MAX 2, and am now living off of DDR EX. That sums it up, I guess. riiight.gif

Probably 3rd. It wasn't the first mix I ever played, but it what I really go started on, and it's probably the one I played the most.

DDR USA. First DDR arcade machine I ever played on.

Agreed.

I would drive 2.5 hours every weekend just to play THIS version of the game. It was the closest machine to me at the time.

The one that started it all for me.

I hafta say the 5th Mix, because it has helped me from being a newbie to who I am now. I wouldn't be as good as I am right now if it wasn't for 5th.

I grew up on US 1st Mix. Then I switched to Konamix, where I owned all of the catas on it by late July 2002, last one being Dead End. 5th Mix helped me get adjusted to the faster framerate, and DDR MAX (US) got me addicted to speed mods.

5th Mix. I remember the first time I played on that machine. biggrin.gif I loved it ever since.

But I'm prefering 4th Plus right now. It's just a curse that the oldest machine we have in town is a Max2....... disturb.gif

....But yeah. I started on 3rd Mix Korean 2, worked my way up to Heavy on Max2 and am currently working on 10 footers on Extreme.

But 4th Plus and 5th Mix forever! riiight.gif

Home: DDRMax USA had the biggest impact on. I learned how to do heavy songs on this mix and the speed mods are a big help also.

Arcade: Extreme because of the big song selection.

Max2. Oni courses kept me from getting bored with DDR, and Nearly 130 taught me that getting low great counts (not just passing hard songs) could be fun.

I grew up on the original DDR... the very first one, coz when I got it for PlayStation it was really really new to the world. After a while I lost interest in DDR, but DDRMAX renewed my interest.

And DDRMAX2 was the very first arcade DDR I ever played... and this happened about 2 weeks ago(oh the memories).. mmyep I'm stuck on my home pad XD

Mmyep.... Max forever! happy.gif

I would have to say 7th mix because that was the version that introduced me into the world of DDR.

I was raised on a 4th mix ,not plus ,but solo ,it had no bar ,it was the only ddr i got to ever play for about a year since it was in a bowling ally my parents went to all the time and ended up getting to 9's on it before i got to another mix. Now can't stand to play it since there is a lack of songs, no bar, its slippery, the pannels are harder than other mixes, and there is no grade above A so you have to full combo to get an A no matter the number of greats, but all in all it is the mix that had the most impact on me.
