I do! Paula Terry rocks my world! And for the person who couldn't find Paula Terry in D2R, well, I don't want to be mean but how about THE FIRST 10 FRIGGIN' SECONDS?!? Load the E3 trailer for the new DDR games coming out this fall! That song begins with Paula Terry! biggrin.gif Are you sure you meant to say D2R or did you mean some other song?

DDR 3rd mix had the first two songs featuring the DDR All Stars: Dynamite Rave and End Of The Century. Since those two were popular enough to give even Butterfly a run for its money several more were made in the same style. And now that list is quite large. But is it fair to call those songs average? Each on their own without the presence of the rest would dominate the players best list I'm sure. Isn't that what happened with Dynamite Rave since it was the first?

Is Still In My Heart only average because we have our choice of 20 other Naoki feat Paula Terry songs or because we have 230 songs on 8th mix? Or was it only when the cooler remix was made into a DDR song? I strongly agree with Phrekwenci that average is the wrong word to be using. How about these:

Boring to listen to:
- After The Game - This song was composed around the lyrics. Removing the lyrics reveals how very little audio is left. Good for Keraoke.
- Patsenner - Doot. Doot-do-doot.
- Somewhere Over The Rainbow after the slowdown.

Too similar to FM radio music for me to enjoy frequently: ( generic )
- There You'll Be, True ( radio edit )

A victim of following its genre too closely: ( is there a word for this? )
- Bye Bye Baby Balloon

Never hits a climax, but should have: ( anticlimactic )
- Rock Beat ( most forgotten song ever! ), Wild Rush ( oni remix )

Is that what you mean by average? I don't hate any of those songs but they aren't my favorites for those reasons.

Queen's Jamica/ Pretty average. Most ddr fans haven't heard it I think, like with several other club mix songs.

I've heard Queen's Jamaica reminds me of Jam Jam Reggae E1.gif .

Anyway DXY is more of a DDRNerd Overplayed song nerd.gif then an average song. One reason I don't play it disgust.gif

Average Songs in my eyes are:

Celebrate Nite, Hysteria, Wild Rush, Nori Nori Nori, Yozora No Muko, The Race, Graduisic Cyber, Afronova, Only You, My Summer Love, Get me in your Sight, There You'll Be, El Ritmo Tropical, Swing It, etc. and many more.

One, I remember Rock Beat, and two, hold up hold up, that's Paula Terry singing in D2R (the little "everyone ends with me everywhere or w/e)?!?!?! I thought it was some black lady that we never see an artist name for. Cuz that can't be her singing in Dynamite Rave and 1998, and Dance Dance Revolution. Listen to those songs then listen to Love Again Tonight, or Driving, or Dive Into My Heart (English Verison).

Now that you mentioned it, I never really liked the SIMH original. The Momo Mix sounds 10 times better and the steps are better too!!

Yes, I remember Rock Beat. Obviously because I just posted it. But no one ever says "Too bad they never relicensed that one" or "I can't believe I just played 4th+ and never picked Rock Beat!"

And those are all songs feature Paula Terry's voice in them somewhere. Listen to Let Them Move and Keep On Movin'. Thats her too! And she sounds nothing like she does in Love Again Tonight! Actually, right after I made that last post I started listening to an old episode of The Orange Lounge radio and somewhere in the conversation I heard http://www.paulaterry.com ! It doesn't have too much information on it but now I know that she does have her own albums and from the samples on her website I've figured out that she can sing anything!

I'm going way off topic but oh well. Heres a complete list of Bemani songs that she at least sung for. I also have a hunch that she wrote a bunch of their lyrics too but I can't be sure. I'll just list the song title because some of these have been remixed once or twice for Bemani as well.

Definately Paula Terry: Keep On Movin', Let Them Move, 2nd mix ending ( Love Is The Power ), Dynamite Rave, Love Again Tonight, Burnin' The Floor, Can't Stop Fallin' In Love, Broken My Heart, Still In My Heart, Destiny, 1998, Hyper Eurobeat, Dance Dance Revolution, Dive Into Your Heart, Celebrate Night, Memories, L'amour Et La Liberte, Drivin'

Maybe Paula Terry: Prince On A Star, Secret Rondezvous, Baby Baby Gimme Your Love, End Of The Century ( definately several female voices, but listen to the lone voice )

I probably missed a few. D2R. Heh.
Definately. Not. Average. E15.gif

EDIT: A quick search just turned up Carnival Day and Email Me from Guitar Freaks and Drumania. I've never played those games and I've never heard those songs but I guess everyone learns something new everyday.

Oh...that is why most of those songs are not pleasing to the ear. laugh.gif

Too bad, I though it was either Terry or Auggy singing those (I know they sing some of those). Paula Terry is the devil. devil.gif
