I think Hysteria starts pretty quick under maniac. It starts right after the announcer guy finishes talking.(at least in Konamix)

And for slowest uhh...HVAM? That's what I think since it's just plain schlow in the beginning.

Firefly starts pretty fast as for slow I'd have to say Butterfly, that thing takes forever....

Have any of you played Put Your Faith In Me?? You sit there for 10 seconds before the arrows actually come up... sooooo annoying.

I don't know for sure about GoR, but On The Jazz starts within the first second. The arrows are there! BAM!

All the older songs (Paranoia, Butterfly, etc.) have a long time in between the start of the song and the first step.

For new songs, Look at Us standard double takes FOREVER.

I dunno if anyone knows this song but the one that i think starts up pretty fast is STAY - tess... And I the slowest arrows that come up in this song from my opinion is Bre\-/k Down. you have to wait for 11 seconds

HVAM would have really quick starting arrows (they're practically on screen as soon as the song begins), but it starts at a ridiculously slow speed...too bad.

Hyper Eurobeat also starts fairly quickly...I know because one time i was moving a kid off the pad and missed about 5 steps >.< almost failed my attempted AA song...how embarassing

I stand corrected. It's "It's So Delicious" from Dreams Come True, on challenge steps... you start stepping as soon as you hit start... i ended up getting this on one more extra stage and failed first step >_<
