Another mod I would like to see in the arcade would be "Arrange Mode" from 1st Mix home version. Where you get an "Ouch" for ghost stepping. Forcing players to only step on "in game" arrows. Would make PA a lot more interesting watching people keep a beat without an arrow to step and keep beat on. thumb.gif Am I evil or what? devil.gif
But that would be the n00b step! BTW, you are very evil.

I would like something like "Panic" speed mod from Mixwaver (Beatmania simulator).

Rather than individual COLUMNS moving with random speed mods, individual ARROWS have random speed mods. i.e. an arrow is creeping slowly towards the top arrows at 0.5x speed, then another arrow in the same column appears at 3x speed, passes the first arrow, and actually hits FIRST. It's hellish to read without Sudden, and even then it's pretty bad.

Another fun one I saw had the bars fall towards the bottom, accelerating, then they "bounced" at about the sudden point, moved up for a bit, slowly decelerating, and then accelerated to the bottom again. Another fun one. =D

How about something like Stepping Selection where the reaction bar (as in the set arrows) move downward as you miss steps. You miss alot, and you have better memorized the steps for that song.

That Time Spacing option in Stepmania CVS is pretty nice, it makes all arrows in the song the same BPM even when the BPM changes, so you can only speed mod the parts that are slow on a song.

Another cool option would be speed modding for individual arrows.

That's a lot like how the spacing works in GF&DM works. There are lines that show the quarter beats, and then when the BPM changes, they just get closer together.
