Sky High / Fantasy

As near as I know, there are two songs in the DDR history with the same names but entirely different sounds... Sky High, which appears in DDR Solo by DJ Miko ("You've blown it all sky high / by telling me a lie"), and a different Sky High in 4th Mix Plus, by Lucyfer ("Slam / sky high"). Fantasy is even stranger - entirely different songs with the same name, both in the MAX games, so both appear in DDRMAX2 and in Extreme. The first in 6th Mix was Melissa's Fantasy ("Fantasy / you set me free"); the 7th Mix one is by Lockout ("You are my fantasy / you are my energy"). Now, to make this a viable topic, which of each song do you personally prefer, both for listening and playing? I happen to like the DJ Miko Sky High and the Lockout Fantasy.

on the topic of Fantasies, i think the DANCE EXPRESS Hi-Speed 'Fantasy' in iidx 4th style is better than both of them.

Okay, I probably won't agree with you guys but....hey!

Umm.....Sky High (Lucyfer) > Sky High (DJ Miko), the one by Miko sounds terrible..I miss the one by Lucyfer.

And Fantasy (Melissa) > Fantasy (Lockout), Fantasy by Melissa is 10 times better than the one by Lockout. Lockout wasn't fun to listen to either, it sucked!

I'm going to go w/ Lucyfer's Sky High, and Mellisa's Fantasy.

Just becasue they are more up beat and what-not, and when I heard that Sky High was goin to be in Extreme I was like

but then I saw it say by DJ Miko.......

I like all them equally.

Old Sky High because I can get SDG's on it.
New Sky High because on the patterns.

Old Fantasy because it sounds better than the 7th mix version.
New Fantasy because well... I pass this version.

yes i prefer the lucifyer one and the melissa one

also, another song with 3 versions is memories, but all in different games, one is DDR only, one is IIDX only, and one is KBM only and they aaaalll sound different, i prefer the IIDX.

Dive (Deep and Deeper Style) and Dive into your heart from BM IIDX 6th style have a similar beat but one is sung in english and the other is in japanese. Nothing to do w/ Fantasy or Sky high but i thought that should be said

For playing:

Lucyfer's Sky High, because I find DJ Miko's Sky High's Heavy steps pretty boring.

It's kinda close in terms of the Fantasies. Lockout's Fantasy is a bit too easy to be fun for me, but Melissa's Fantasy is a bit too tiring to be fun for me. I'd say Melissa's Fantasy, but just by a hair, and because I like the Doubles steps.

For listening:

DJ Miko's Sky High. One of the first DDR songs that I ever played, so it somehow gained some sort of special place in my heart? I don't know, I just like how this version of Sky High sounds, and I'm not too big a fan of the Lucyfer version.

Lockout's Fantasy. Once again, not quite sure why, I just like the beginning and the end in the full version.
