I've been playing ddr for a year and a half now and ive had my own metal pad for almost a half a year (veteran cracks settin in on the plexiglass) I almost always play barefoot, and i'll probably still go shoeless in Christmas of Fire as well. I guess this thread's about what everyone does to prep themselves and how they get comfortable on the floor. As people are proving the DDR diet actually works its more apparent that ddr is as much a sport as the mile run in a track meet, just not as old.
I've got a favorite pair of pants to play in. They're khaki and a little on the prep side but they stretch better than jeans and breathe well when im tryin to nail max300 for the fiftieth time ( i WILL have my A) I'm also trying to find a nice pair of shoes to play in and see how that differs from barefoot (can you imagine some arcades wont let you play shoeless?) I think im gonna learn how to wrap my feet so my soles dont get so wrecked when i have to move faster than my best interest should allow.
Well what about you guys? What are your little things you do during practice/before a tournament?
