I'm pretty new to DDR, so Santa brought a cheap Naki non-slip pad. It works fine for now, but I know I'll have problems if I get better. I think I'll have to wait about 6 years until I have a nice job to buy myself a $600 metal pad!
By the way, I have my soft pad attached to a wooden board, but does anyone have a suggestion on how to change the buttons so they feel different from the rest of the pad?

yeah, what i do, is i just take some really cheap alumaum sheet metle, and make a ghetto pad with it, by cuting it, and bendng it until it will fit around the bottons. its like a halfway arcade style home pad. be sure to put rubber on the side of the metle, or your cut up your foot like i did...

Santa got me a DDR extreame 2 bundle, which i already have, ("santa" wanted to get me aanother pad so i can play doubles/vs.), so im exchanging it for a red octane pad, and give santa some money back. (santa already gave me a sterao, and Kendo armor, which, does NOT come cheap... i got top o da line sh it that a bullet can penitrate... i hope...)
