Well just to let you guys know I received this pad hooked it up and cannot get the buttons to work. I tried the up+start+select code and nothing. No left and right combos, anything. It did not come with a driver disc and in my computer for controller listings it is listed a a USB joystick that is it.
Maybe it needs a driver or something, or you have to only play their kraft games. Also the pad is very thin, so I guess until I figure it out, 2 thumbs down. |

got the pad, worked on the games downloaded from that kraft site, they have a ddr rip off with a whole 'we changed the icons so we don't get sued' feel.
did not work on other games.
But the games are ok, they use corners though and it gets pretty trippy. i couldn't pass level 3 hard.
they also have a boat plugging game which is 'different'
it promises more games on the site, so you can use the pad...
I could do the easy levels while eating my mac and cheese...

LOL looks like it is designed for only their games, not shure if this would work for SM or DDR. |

I recently got one of these - just couldn't resist for the pure oddness of owning a Kraft dance pad. The Kraft games are pretty amusing, not too bad actually. The boat one I find entertaining - it's like a wet version of Whack-a-mole. The side scrolling arrows can drive you crazy on the dance game, but hey it's free (the game.)
You can, however, use the pad with Stepmania. You'll have to go in under options and remap the joystick, but that is pretty simple. The PC does seem to recognize it as a 10-button USB joystick.
Like any softpad, it needs to be mounted on plywood, but it could be a cheap option for those who don't have a PC-compatible pad. |

Shiver me timbers, Philip, at this rate I'll never get to my Kraft DDR pad! _________________
