Hey guys. As said on my title I need help getting DDR Music onto my Xanga site. I can get the song to automatically download onto the viewer's comp but not just play automatically. I have a friend with this problem too. Can anyone here who has a Xanga tell me my problem? or just help me upload a DDR song onto the net so I can use the URL and stream the song to the viewer instead of downloading it for him.

I indeed have a xanga (Look at my www.)

Well this is what I do to put music (ANY type of music)

I know that i can't advertise other URL's so I'm going to make things brief.

-WMA formatting is the way to go. Directly uploading an mp3 can cause lots of traffic and lag even for high speed users... which is why WMA (Windows media audio) is probably the best. Lowers the size of the file depending on the bitrate you put it as...hopefully you will make it lower to have it load faster.

+On a search engine type - Mp3 to WMA Converter (That's what I put)

-Converting Mp3 files. Convert any Mp3 file you want (assuming the DDR song is in mp3 format) and choose the bitrate to convert it to. (Converters usually do have the option to change bitrate) Preferrably 48 KPS.

-Listen to your WMA. Make sure it sounds ok. Some programs screw up because the Mp3 is write protected...meaning that you can't do anything to modify it outside of the converter that made the Mp3. So make sure it sounds right.

-Find an upload server. Since I'm not going to advertise...I'll PM you a link to upload...it's what I use...and VERY VERY useful.

-Look and feel - copy / paste WMA properties and put it under "Music" and you have other options. To loop, etc. etc.

-Have fun!

-Kevyn

It's probably be best to ask the people ask Xanga because this is not a DDR specific question.
