Although this will probably NEVER happen what does every one think about a DDR team in schools or local teams. It would be like most sports where you compete against other teams/schools and so on. Like I said I know it will probably never happen but I would be fun can I get some input on this? _________________

actually, there ARE ddr teams all over the place, at least there's a bunch here in washington. although things are starting to die down a little, if you live in or around a metropolitan area you can probably find a few teams to compete against. _________________

Wow, See thats probably why, our hick buttocks towns. There are a lot of agressive players around here but no teams. I would like to get some thing like that together. What about teams for schools? Our school once considered a hackey sack team, So to me DDR school team didnt seem too farfetched. _________________

if there's enough people who play, you might want to start a DDR Club at school first where you guys can just go out and play together... because it's kind of useless to start a team if you don't live near another team who plays. _________________

I actually have FINALLY found enough people to make a DDR club at our school since the requirements 6 people minimum. I think I have 10 now that I've found some DDR players I never even knew that they knew what DDR even stood for. Teams would be awsome, I'm sure that if there's other teams around that we'd be able to compete cause I'm positive we have atleast 3 or 4 people that play heavy. I've gotten eveything planned out to how we're going to work out equipment. All I need is someone to sponsor us next school year. Just in case someone's interested My setup for equipment was pretty hard to work out since our school has a problem with other students not keeping their hands off other peoples property I actually decided I'd use DWI but since the schools network and such prolly won't give us space I'm going to attempt to put DWI on a DVD (hence my Simulators on DVD thread on simulators forum) and play it off there so we just have to risk some pads and the converter that could be easily replaced. Also we could easily have multiple computers going at the same time if we really need to. However since I'm not sure it'll run off a DVD I made a backup that I really DON'T want to do since it costs so much and can't really expand. It'd just be a Ps2 and the equpiment going. I just really don't want to risk a $200 club ps2 in my school. If it gets stolen (kind of likely if someone finds it when the teachers not around and they forgot to lock it) then we can't really replace it that well again since it'd take awhile to get the funds and it'd be annoying for everyone to have to pay another $20. If my DVD gets stolen I just have to burn it again. I don't really think they could get out with the pads and not look suspicious. The converter also wouldn't be that much of a problem. Yea I think I've gone on far to long with this post but if someones interested in me going into more detail of my planning let me know. Suggestions are also good |
