>.<

I made my own steps to I Believe in Miracles, and I try and put it in the song folder. For sections I already have, I've got:

DDR 8th MIX
DDR 4th MIX
DDR 2nd MIX
CUSTOM (Which is the one that won't show up. The one I wanna put my I Believe in Miracles in.)

CUSTOM doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong? frown.gif

EDIT: YEAH I KNOW. Crappy explaination. I can't do anybetter. >.<

I get this error message:

The folder 'Songs/cachaca' contains music files.

This means that you have a music outside of a song folder.
All song folders must reside in a group folder. For example, 'Songs/DDR 4th Mix/B4U'.
See the StepMania readme for more info.

I did that, but it doesn't show....Can someone help?!?!

What is the path to the mp3 (or .ogg or whatever format the song file is)? Are you sure it's Songs/[group name]/cachaca/cachaca.mp3? And did you restart Stepmania after you moved it?

New problem: It says Konoko's foot-levels are 1 for every dif. except Heavy. Anyone know how to fix this? I got the simfile from Zenius-I-Vanisher, BTW.

New problem. I had Eden & High School Love on SM, then I found another simfile w/ new banners, BGs, & steps of the same songs. So I deleted those songs off, then I put the new simfiles on. But it won't work. It still has the original that I deleted (it's not on when I take them off), plus the banner & vid/BG won't show...

Never mind, I just put the new simfiles into a different folder & it works now.

Is there some way to sync the videos to the music, cuz I can only get it after the BG (sometimes the music plays before the arrows come, which then the vid will play), causing the vid to be offsync by a few seconds.

I know there's a thing on Stepmania.com that'll let me convert MP3 to OGG (for ITG AC). Is there anything that'll let me convert OGG back into MP3?

Neva mind. Found something. It'll also let me convert OGG to MP3, too, so that'll help.

Of course, StepMania decides to start crashing on me the day I get my Flux. >_____>;;

Okay, so last night I downloaded new drivers for my video card. It's an integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200. So anyway, I grab the new drivers and install them. Take note of the fact that before I installed these drivers, StepMania worked flawlessly. Now that they're on there, it ceases to function.

I've tried falling back to previous video cards, but to no avail. I even installed the same video card I had before and that doesn't work, either! I've determined that the problem lies either in 1. OpenGL not working (I can get the game to load with Direct3d), or 2. A code somewhere inside the StepMania folders that was "used" to my old drivers.

Log of failure:

Quote:
00:00.712: RageSound::LoadSound( 'Themes/default/Sounds/MemoryCardManager ready.ogg' )
00:00.717: RageSound::LoadSound( 'Themes/default/Sounds/MemoryCardManager error.ogg' )
00:00.717: RageSound::LoadSound( 'Themes/default/Sounds/MemoryCardManager too late.ogg' )
00:00.718: RageSound::LoadSound( 'Themes/default/Sounds/MemoryCardManager disconnect.ogg' )
00:00.731: Profile::LoadAllFromDir( Data/MachineProfile/ )
00:00.732: Loading Data/MachineProfile/Stats.xml
00:00.771: Done.
00:00.783: UnlockSystem::Load()
00:00.787: Last seen video driver: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series
00:00.787: Card matches 'GeForce|Radeon|Wonder 9'.
00:00.787: Video card has changed from ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series to ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series. Applying new defaults.
00:00.788: Video renderers: 'opengl,d3d'

There's more, but everything above that was successful.

Also, a crash dump is here:

I will try to explain what my brother meant.

We have stepmania 3.95 with the h4x theme. When we get a great with the left arrow for example, the left arrow will disapear before it reaches the target and we constantly get greats until we let an arrow pass. It does the same thing with decents and way offs.

If it still doesn't make any sense, you must not have experienced the problem.
