I got an XBOX for Christmas, where do you get the emulators for XBOX and how do you install them?
Also, I want to put Stepmania on my XBOX, which I know is going to take alot of room on the HD, how would I go about getting a big HD, which I know is possible, do I just buy a regular computer HD and take out the old one and pop in the new one?

There is some group of guys way out in the world of the internet, who mod Xboxes. For like $400, you get a lot of stuff, Stepmania, 40 GB hard drive, SNES emu and roms, N64 emu and roms, and a bunch of other crap. That's all I know though, don't have a link or anything, sorry.

Because, unless you have a laptop, you can't take your computer anywhere that you want to without lugging around a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Also unless your laptop/Computer has a TV out you can't connect it to a TV either.

| First, it must be modded. Any chip will do, really. As long as it's sort of new. Afterwards, install EvolutionX. I'm not going to tell you how to do anything like, illegal Just go to http://www.xbox-scene.com . After Installing EvoX and getting the ftp all configured, log in to the Xbox, go to your E Drive, make a folder called Games, then a sub-folder called "StepmaniaX", then upload the Stepmania for Xbox files in there. All of this stuff is on that website I mentioned. You won't be able to get EvoX or SMX there, though. |

Can't you play this poopy on your x-box if you don't have a chip but are using that 007 Agent Under Fire bug?

| Can't you just burn stepmania to a disk and play it? You can't play x-box without a tv, u can't play stepmania without a comp(not counting car tvs). Or just buy the x-box game? It's cheaper than an x-box mod ($60 to 500?) |

Yes, its true that you can't play Xbox without a TV, but everyone has a TV, so I can take it to a friends house if I so choose and play Stepmania on my Xbox. Everyone doesn't though, have a computer, nor would most of them be willing to let me play Stepmania on their computer unless they already had it or play DDR.
I own DDR Ultramix and though it is a nice game, it is nothing compaired go Stepmania and all the Stepfiles I have for it and it never will be, even with all the downloadable song packs.
So putting Stepmania on my Xbox is a much better idea.

Yes, however, it's much harder to do and doesn't always work. |
