i saw an American doing DDR at an arcade once and they where REALLY good, i went up to him and just said "hey, youre really good!" he went all moody at me and told me to P*** O** because he 'wasnt good enougth', errm i know it sounds weired to ask but is there a reason why he was so moody?

If someone tells me that I'm really good, I say that I'm not. I'm not mean about it (because that's honestly retarded) but a little modesty certainly doesn't hurt.

When someone tells me that I am good, I politely say that the converse is true, and that there are people much better than I.

Maybe he just missed out on a AAA? I get a little annoyed when i get like 2 or 3 greats on a song, and it is seen to the played as not good enough when you're that close to it..

just to clear and and my two cents, personally I take whatever feedback I can get, be it good or bad. I can't imagine why he was so immature about the situation, but for the most part, and the people I know, don't generally push off someone when they are commenting on us, something wrong there =/
