I'm fast, but not graceful. I don't deal well with soft pads anymore. They used to be okay, since I didn't go so fast, but not anymore. I know I may be asking for a miracle, but I need to find a hard pad that's reliable, costs around or less than $50, and I can find and buy offline. Can anyone help me out here?

You're asking for a miracle, though I did get my metal pad from ebay for about 30 dollars, but this was BEFORE shipping.

You're not going to find a hard pad in that price range offline. However, you could just mod a soft pad with some wood and maybe put lexan over it, like the guy in the Sandwhich Mod post did. This would at least resemble a hard pad.

youre wrong there. you can buy hard pads in that range. just not metal, or good. anybody remember those hard plastic pads? they were usually black and had red or green arrows. they crack alot and stop working fast.

i suggest modding your pad. if get money, i suggest building your own metal pad.
