Unlock code problems?

The arcade nearby just opened up and has the ITG2 that has been shuffled around the area for a while. The machine seems to have been reset and had no machine records and no unlocks at all. I went the the Dance, Battle, etc. screen and I tried doing the unlocks as stated here at the bottom of the page: http://inthegroove.roxorgames.com/page/Unlock_Codes. When I do the codes, nothing happens at all. No snippet, no text saying I unlocked anything. I have tried doing the codes at all different speeds and countless numbers of times but nothing seems to work.

The machine is an R23 Dedicab, regular ITG2.
Please help me!

I remember that I had to feed some codes several times before the machine detected them, so be sure that you make them correctly and don't step any ghost steps while doing them. If you still can't get unlocks to work you can always hax them open (if nothing else works).
