I could care less, although it's a dancing game.
That's just one person with their opinoin, I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.
DDR is "old" ITG is "new", don't even worry.

there both fun though. thats all there is to it.

Guess it comes down to the old "Guitar Hero is the new DDR" theory, right?
I second that. The trend now with music games is that Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises are the hottest games right now. Now that VH1 has a show based on Rock Band shows that these types of music games is the "in" thing now.

I really didn't think DDR got popular with the masses, just like GH / RB did. respond if you disagree with me.

Did Mario Party die after the Wii was made?

Or was it the fact the Game Cube was an epic fail.

Mario Party was being coughed up as many times as Madden, but it looks as if it stopped for a quick break because it's late.

That whole list is ridiculously screwed up. I mean, I've never heard of Leisure Suit Larry, but all the other games on that list are pretty popular.

And SONIC!?!?!?! WTF!

Sonic is limping, man. I hate to say it myself as I was a Sega fanboy but Sonic hasn't been doing well lately and there are a few games that seem to do well, but not amount to the older Sonic games.

I don't know but I didn't even hear of other mix's until about two months ago and i've been playing DDR Extreme (Arcade) since it came out.

It is kinda confusing.

For me, when I heard of DDR for the Playstation I got confused as to what mix was what. Then I just stopped caring about home mixes.

I think the reson Sonic started sucking was because video games as a whole changed and took longer and longer to complete.

Anyone remeber when you could beat Sonic 2 (with all the chaos emeralds) in about an hour-30 flat? Video games aren't like that anymore and I think Sega tried to adapt and Sonic wasn't made for that which is why they tried to add in all this extra stuff (storylines, a slew of new characters, an adventure-style format, new features, camera angles, etc.). That just killed Sonic because it was too different.

That and they changed Robotnik's name to Eggman... goog.gif

Before I get to the next part, I just gotta say, most of the time spent on Sonic 2 is most likely on Emerald Hill Zone, getting all 7 emeralds.

Then the rest of the game is insanely hilarious rage at monkeys fun once you get 50 rings.

Now, onto the next part....

Sonic always had a Storylline, only they started trying hard later on. The story was extremely simple, linking 2, 3, and Knuckles. Sonic CD did a good job, and then they tried a bit harder and harder with the games following.

im starting to really feel that the article is right

konami has had enough chances to really make their game outstanding, both gameplay-wise and functionality wise and has failed enough times, and they fail to add any significant additions to the game mechanics, with their shock arrows being a complete failure imo (they could have had at least some potential, however little that may be, but Konami decided that light mode + shock arrows = oni charts )

blegh

More like literally copy/pasting Heavy steps + shock arrows replacing some steps.

I agree that DDR is going stale, but it's partially it's availability for me (there are very few machines and I can't just go to them casually because it's D&B or it's too far away). And even then, I just don't play anything after SuperNOVA because the songs don't appeal as much.
