Beginner
Light
Standard
Heavy
Challenge

...though after saying Light, Standard or Heavy i catch myself and say Basic, Difficult, or Expert. most of the time it depends on what game i'm playing unless i'm with other DDR players then i just say whatever comes to mind.

Besides # footers or # feet, I call the different levels light, standard, heavy, and challenge (for some reason I never consider beginner as a mode, heh).

Beginner, Light, Standard, Heavy, and Oni. It doesn't matter what mix it is. That's how I refer to the difficulty levels, even when I'm playing Supernova.

Since I started playing on 5th mix, I still have a habbit of saying TRICK and MANIAC instead of Standard or Heavy. But since I've been playing DDR Max or higher for years now, STANDARD and HEAVY are what I will usually say.

ONI is tight, so I always use that over Challenge and with ITG I use the names that the machine gives them.

I like to say beginner, light, standard, and heavy, and challenge for oni. That is the original ranking system, and I don't know where they started all this basic and difficult and stuff E19.gif
