I was recently presented a series of questions regarding DDR like the speed of which my legs go and the mph which arrows would go. I still don't have an answer, so I thought I could bring it up with the forum.

1. If both your feet tap 10 times total per second while playing Max 300 (300 4th notes per minute X 2 = 600 8th notes per minute), how fast would one of your feet move for the 8th note jumps at Ska Ska No. 3 (276 BPM) in taps per second?

2. How fast do the arrows move in the form of mph for Afronova (200BPM)?

I don't want to look for exact calculations, just educated guesses. Please don't post opinions or questions irrelevant to what I am asking (like "this is stupid" or "why ask these questions?"). Just looking for smart responses.

That's all for now...

All someone needs to do is calculate the extra speed it takes to do candle steps. Then, we can decide which song requires to most overall foot speed.

Assuming I'm reading that question correctly, you'd need to know the height of the screen on an arcade machine. Or if you were talking about a home version, the answer would depend entirely on the size of the TV. I can't imagine it's more than a few MPH on an arcade machine - wild guess: less than 5.

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

Let it be based on a standard DDR Extreme/SuperNOVA machine monitor. Yes, you read that question correctly by the way.
