Here's the Pop'n-equse arcade version.

Here's an overview of what the game is. (albeit on PC)

Audition is nothing like pop'n. Its more like DDR.

I was referring to the arcade version of the game...

Considering the popularity of the game in Korea, and the fact the game's already been ported to PSP and now to arcade, there's a good chance they'll try to put it on PS2.

From what I can see in that picture, the arcade version of Audition plays identically to its online PC counterpart, which is to say not like Pop'n or DDR at all. Audition plays like the game Bust a Groove/Move on PS1, where you're shown a sequence of arrows which you then repeat within a measure of the song and then hit a button on the fourth beat to complete it. I find it interesting that it's made it to arcades, though, as I wasn't a fan of the online version. Gameplay-wise, it was ok, but I can't think of a single song from the game I actually liked. >_>
