yell at activision for adding stupid arbetrary strum notes in the middle of what should be an entire hammer-on stream.

So I got it (PS2) and beat Hard.

I will agree with the fretboard not jumping and the guitarist doing nothing. I mean I caught a glimpse of the singer pick up the mic stand and twirl around so I guess he's got his own Star Power moves but I don't.

My major gripe with this game is the difficulty. I mean...I've seen some of the Expert charts and walls of notes and constant use of 3-note chords is really stale in my opinion.

Still a solid game I think.

wiki wrote:
In 2000, the band generated controversy through their public support of Alive & Well, an organization that denies the link between HIV and AIDS, questions the validity of HIV tests, and advises against taking medication to counter the disease.[3] Foo Fighter bassist Nate Mendel learned of Alive & Well through What If Everything You Thought You Knew about AIDS Was Wrong?, a self-published book written by Christine Maggiore, the organization's founder. Mendel passed the book around to the rest of the band, who supported his advocacy.[3]

In January 2000, the band played a benefit concert for the organization, which Mendel helped to organize.[3] The band also contributed songs to The Other Side of AIDS, a controversial documentary film by Maggiore's husband Robin Scovill, which questions whether HIV is the cause of AIDS.[4] The band's position caused alarm in the medical community, as Alive & Well's advice ran contrary to established medical wisdom about HIV and AIDS.[3][4] In a 2000 interview, Mendel spoke of using the Foo Fighters' popularity to help spread the group's message and of holding more benefits for the organization.[3] While no further benefits have taken place, the band continues to list Alive & Well as one of its causes on its website.

This game is epicly amazing.

And I just figured out how to tap the intro to TTFAF. E1.gif

And I wouldn't say 3 has better songs than 2, but it definitely has better charts. Yay GH!

Definitly better charts in this game. The only complaint I have is that they made the last battle (on expert) too hard. No matter how good you are, it requires some luck. If the devil gets any double notes attacks you are pretty much screwed. I really like TTFAF though. I think it's a great song and it has a bunch variety in the chart. I'm able to get an 81% on it right now, but I should be able to pass it soon.

I'm guessing the Wii version will be unable to support things like tournaments, downloads, etc? It seems like so far that version has gotten the shaft in everything almost..

Bleh.

AFAIK, the ps2 version has the least amount of stuff between all versions.

Tomorrow, since it's Thanksgiving, you can download Halo theme (MJOLNIR Mix) for FREE. The mix has some Grammy Award winning dude, Steve Vai playing the guitar.

AHAHAHAHA I have got to hear this that is fucking ridiculous.

"Sorry steve, we ran out of room for you in the game because we invested ourselves entirely in mostly untalented artists that fourteen year olds are familiar with, but here, you can play on this halo remix song!"

ahahaha...

RedOctane has announced that sometime next year, the Wii version of GH3 will have some DLC, but as to how to get it (Wii points?), nothing yet. Report

I wanna also note that if you have the Wii version, your copy might only be able to have sound output put on Mono, so if you do, send it to Activision & they'll fix the problem so you can also have Stereo & Dolby Pro Logic.
