What the fuck, people were demanding more metal, so they toss in MTV shit like Lacuna and new In Flames. Stop catering to sellouts for fuck's sake.

don't know if this is old or not, but I was looking through flyers at circuit city, and one of the future flyers had a small section on this game, and had release date as 10/28. pretty long time away from now, but whatever.

Rage Against The Machine's guitarist Tom Morello is gonna be a boss

Also, the PS3 & 360 versions of the game will retail for $60, or $100 w/ guitar. On the Wii & PS2, it'll will cost $90 w/ guitar.

There's also the Elite Bundle, which includes the game & guitar, plus the following:

- Custom Faceplate
- Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Tee Shirt
- Custom 2" wide Strap
- Guitar Hero Keychain
- Guitar Hero Sticker Pack

PS3 & 360 versions going for $110, Wii version $100. In other words, for just $10 more dollars, you get those extras.

Cool (I'm a fan of Morello). I wonder if it will be RATM, Audioslave, or something as the Nightwatchman for the song.

I didn't use the stuff that came with the first gh (stickers and strap), so I'm going to pass on that. I'm going to get the regular bundle for the wii. I need more games for the wii as it stands right now, and I don't have a ps3 or a 360 or a ps2.

you know, at $40 more for the bundle, you're better off buying the bundle and selling your old guitar on ebay(since the wireless is gonna be nice), and you could probably pay maybe, $5 extra for the wireless guitar. i saw my local gamestop selling used 360 guitars for $45.

Something I should note:

The Wii version WILL be online w/ multiplayer. They just said nothing about downloading extra content.........YET. We don't know...

Also, new song. Bulls On Parade. Named the 15th greatest metal song of all time.

I'm planning on buying the PS2 version initially just because it'll save me $40, then I'll get the Wii version (or 360 version, if I have one) sometime in 08.

Also, how are they gonna pull off the Bulls on Parade solo?

Every person worth a damn knows that VH1 is irrelevant when it comes to music.

There are less than ten credible metal bands on that list.

BemaniStyle & some other sites have confirmed that GH3 will be on the Mac & PC, which will ship w/ the CS versions. The only addition is the graphics, which will take advantage of whatever graphics card. No minimum specifications have been announced, though. Oh, & you'll get a USB guitar peripheral w/ it.

& yes, it'll still have the same songlist & downloads.

hmm, im rather excited about the PC/mac versions, as its just a matter of weeks before someone comes up with a way to hack it and put your own songs on it. Yeah, i know you can on PS2, but the PC is just more simple and wont require any mods.

im still suprised its coming out for like every console, but w/e. i bet eventually we'll start seeing some platform-exclusive songs(imagine wii versions with guitar remakes of classic nintendo songs!). perhaps an unlockable zora guitar and link guitarist? HELLZ YEAH!!

you forgot to mention that besides the "scratching" guitar solo its the most boring song to play of all time
the bass line may be mildly entertaining

A PC release is definitely a plus. There will certainly be a ton of fan-made content, though most of it will be crap. Probably better than the original tracklist, though...

Listen to the songs on GH3 in their original form. Most are YouTube vids or just little song players, but hey, if you don't know any songs, now you can know. Oh, & Bulls On Parade isn't that great......
