i personally use nazobmplay http://www.mnxnet.com/~manbow/nazobmplay/download.html note all the options on this sim is all in jap so unless you have support in XP for it you wont be able to read menus

i know alot of people like BemaniDX its good and supports mp3/bms
http://bemaniadx.s3.xrea.com/download.html

SSRMAX has a nice lay out but is pretty outdatedhttp://iidxte.outphase.com/bmv2/ssrmax/downloads.htm

there is also Lunatic Rave and Keymania but i have never used them but they are pretty good

In terms of timing windows, SSRMAX is the way to go. Unfortunately, it can be a pain in the ass to find.

I went to the mall the other day and they had this cool DDR simulator there...I think it was called 'pump up the volume' or something? well, it was kind of neat. if you want to simulate DDR I guess you could give it a try, I think they have ps2 versions too.

On FFR, there's a game called "SpinItUp." It's not that great, but it's not horrible.

Just want to warn you guys,

Dont use Be-Pachi music if you play PS2 IIDX alot. I played it while on vacation for about a week and when I tried to play PS2 IIDX again I was getting almost all "Goods". It took me another week to get back where I was before the trip. So, I just want to throw that out, Be-Pachi has really F-ed up timing!
