XD just an idea.. what do you guys think? Channelbeat has a couple for sale and they are only $380 or so. |

You'd have to figure out a way to hook up your PS2 to the screen and stuff and override the basic programming. _________________

Does channelbeat actually ship from china? cause im guessing the cost to ship a solo cabinet from china to the us is easily over $1000....
Edit: since i dont feel like working i decided to look this up.... for a 150lb package that is 3 ft x 1.5ft x 1.5 ft UPS wants $922 to ship from china to atlanta. Obviously a solo cabinet is a lot bigger than that, but thats the biggest package they'll give you a price for. Figure this is roughly equivalent to buying it a seat on an airline. Maybe you can ship cheaper by boat?
Edit Edit: whew... really not getting any work done today. So i saw on channelbeat it says the cabinet is located in the united states... so thats not so bad. UPS says $380 to ground ship a 200lb package from LA to Atlanta. Of couse again im totally guessing on the weight here... another ups site says that a 200lb package of cabinet-size would be billable as 350lbs, so if thats true it adds another $100. (not sure if this applies to ground shipments or if its only air) |
