My email to MYMYBOX (sent today):

I have some serious concerns about ordering a blue shark from you. I've been planning to order one tomorrow.

However, you have FIVE unanswered complaints from the BBB. Also, you are not answering emails and your forums are full of porn spam! You are exposing children to pornography by allowing this on your site!

What happened to the good old MYMYBOX company who used to answer emails and keep up on their forums? Surely, given the price of your dance pads and accessories, you are making enough money to take care of this situation.

We are aware of this problem. We have been trying to solve this problem. However, we were not
able to fix the problem!

we currently made temporary mymybox forum at this moment so that at least we can protect our
children from pornography .

We will try to answer to FIVE unanswered complaints from the BBB.

we would appreciate it if you can let us know how to fine those FIVE unanswered complaints on BBB.

Could you tell us what is BBB Stands for?

My response to THEIR response:

BBB stands for Better Business Buerau - It is an organization that rates companies based on its customer service. http://www.bbb.org/ - Currently, the company MYMYBOX has an F rating. That is the worst rating you can get. I understand you want to resolve these issues. I think people would be very happy if you did. We love the blue shark metal pads.

Thank you for your quick reply. It is very hard to get through to customer service for many people. The pads are very expensive and it feels risky to spend $450 if you cannot contact customer service if there is an issue with the pad.

I think you will be better than Cobalt Flux if you only solve these few issues.

I think perhaps they are a good company that is just having some problems keeping up with demand for their excellent pads and also maybe having trouble learning to run a business.

Omg noeh wai!11!eleventy. Really though, someone is bound to read someones e-mail, so don't be so suprised that you got an e-mail response. Also, while they are a foreign company, they should really know what the BBB is.

They are not a foreign company. They are based in California. However, they probably outsource their customer service. I was just letting everyone know that they SUPPOSEDLY intend to do something about the BBB complaints.

They fixed their forums immediately by creating a new board (no porn now but an empty board... frown.gif )

I am not normally surprised that people answer their email - unless it's MYMYBOX... who didn't answer any email I've sent them over the past month!

Good God, they don't know what the BBB even is. Kudos for getting a response, though - hopefully it'll give them a wake up call.

Honestly I have faith they'll get their act together, but I have no idea WHEN that would be. Just pray there are no problems with your pad, as you might have a bit of a wait before your problem gets fixed.

Well, hopefully, they'll do something about it. I ordered my blue shark today and got my tracking number just now. Also, I've had same-day replies for the past couple of days...

Let's hope they are getting back to the way they used to be!

Here's another email I just got from them:

Hello

last 2 months, we were short in our staff, two more people joined our staff as sales and customer
service team.

Now are responding our customer email little bit faster than before. However, we are not able to
do phone customer service more efficiently due to the new telephone system. Two of our telephone
lines are prertty much busy all the time due to many phone calls. if we have a time, we are
returning the phone calls that we missed.

We will do our best to serve our cusomters.

thank you for your understanding !

we will be working on saturday until next week to take care of our holiday season customers.

thank you and have a good weekend.

As one of their "Holiday season" customers (and creators of one of their five cases on the BBB site), I'll post here to say whether or not they'll be good to their word on taking care of this.

Well, it's been over a week and MyMyBox seems to have done nothing other than delete their forums.

It would seem that MyMyBox answers emails of people who haven't bought pads yet - I guess they haven't gotten your money yet, so you matter and we (owners with problems) don't!

MYMYBOX did give me an e-mail back about pre-orders on the nexen (which i don't want it anymore) they said that the next week they will start pre-oreders for it. THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO... I am tird of waiting so i am looking for a different pad to buy now.

It's crap like that which makes the gaming industry so scary to get into. Earning customer trust outside of this site could be REALLY difficult because of bad sellers like that. disgust.gif

I hope you get something back soon too; sorry if I don't seem to be conveying that too enthusiastically, but I'm busy being pissed off at the established economy.

Well, I hate to say it, but I still haven't heard a word, and I don't expect one any time soon.

People, PLEASE listen - just because they respond to your questions BEFORE you buy doesn't mean they will AFTER. There is something very wrong here, and you shouldn't assume that you won't be another customer they ignore indefinitely.

I hate to sound so negative, but it's been over two months now, and I'm bewildered.
