Reliable Softpad?

Hi all, I am new to the forums and somewhat new to DDR, I play standard/heavy songs and my roommate plays heavy songs. We are looking for an inexpensive, reliable pad that works well without modding (space constraints). I have heard good things about the BNS DX Xtreme Fusion pad but I was curious about a cheaper and/or better alternative.

that's probably the best soft foam pad you can get. you can always get those ignition knockoffs for cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

the BNS DX Fusion/Sparkle(i'm one of the few and proud to own a sparkle!) are some of the best damn foam pads money can buy. I've had mine for nearly a month and it works perfect. Don't settle for anything cheaper.
