What Inspires you to keep playing?

Me.. I have no idea why I keep playing... im barley getting good at Expert songs and can't even double star anything.. yet I continue to play.. guess I want to get good as some of you all...

I wanna be as good as damien, pickels, styles, jjsz.. and others whose name I cant remember at the moment.. *Cough Cough Kevbo*.. heh.. anywayz...

I enjoy playing.. its a habbit of mine.. i'v met cool people playing the game.. and keeps me in shape I guess... which I am to skinny and shouldn't even be playing =P..

meh BBH is only a legend where we live.. and thats cuz the guy is like in this 30's or something.. maybe late 20s.. anyways that guy is long gone.. will never be better than him...

Well, there are many reasons.

1. I've always been into video games, and it is a video game.

2. I love music, and this particular genre of video games revolves around music.

3. For some unknown random reason, I have always been interested in dance, even though I'm a big white boy.

4. I am not very athletic, but I seem to be able to do this while athletic people I know can't keep up. This makes me happy and makes me keep going because people usually pursue what they're good at.

5. I have VERY good rhythm. Yes, I play drums....but more piano actually.

6. I don't have the OMG ALWAYS THIN metabolism that seems common for my age group, so I play daily for exercise.

7. It's addictive, do I seriously need another reason?

I don't think BBH is in his thirties or late twenties, he said his parents just recently kicked him out of the house. Although he's not a top ITG player, he's cool and I think I'm correct in saying he has a large collection of asian porn.

I keep playing because I enjoy tournament competition and the social aspect of the game. Setting long term goals for myself is another way I keep them game interesting.

It's fun.

It gives me acquaintances and friends.

I love trying to get better. It's the only "passion" I have. I was never motivated to get any better at DDR (I thought I was at my prime), yet I've managed to get loads better since I started ITG.

well you all have given pretty dam good reasons to keep playing

im getting better like I said.. or whatever.. im starting to do the harder stuff.. no 12 footers.. but 11 footers... even if I get low scores like a 70% on them.. atleast I broke 80 on Utopia Expert..

There are a few reasons that make me keep playing. You meet awesome people. Its a fun 'game' to an extent, its exercise in a whole new way, it has kick butt music...

But really...my inspiration to continue to play is to beat Mark at some point : x That and stay fit of course x)....Which will take....a long time...

That and playing with my friends is fun.

I don't even really play anymore. If i'm out and I come across a place or arcade with ITG or DDR, i'll play. But i'm never out for the day with friend splaying anymore.
