is it just me or does energizer sound alot like the legend of MAX? they even use some of the same musical elements at almost the same time. even the clicking in the background can be heard in both songs.

Let's face it. Energizer adopts certain aspects from the Max songs and Monolith adopted many aspects from HVAM.

Coincidence? Who knows.

Extremely noticeable? Yeah, pretty much.

Lawsuit worthy? Who gives a crap

That's at least my take on this.

Yeah I sorta see some elements from Energizer in the MAXes or whatever, but to me the similarities are rather small and not really worth noting IMO.

Same goes with Monolith, just the slow start and slow end is the only thing I see close to HVAM. And that shouldn't make it comparable to HVAM.

Just the slow start and slow end?

There's also the BPM

and the stop toward the end.

Sure, Energizer feels like some combination of the Maxes. But the Disconnecteds seem similar to the Paranoias, these guys already brought up Monolinth...heck, I think ITG's Drifting Away and Walking on Fire both sound a little like DDR's Drifting Away, and those are all from licensed artists! Moral of the story: Some songs, regardless of origin, will sound similar to some other songs, and as long as it's not blatant ripping off, which I don't think any of these songs are doing, there's no real problem with that.

Monolith stops more than once though. Plus the actually beat to the song doesn't sound anything like HVAM to me.

Man, I'm serious... Bumble Bee sounds suspiciously like this one song called Bumble Bee on DDR. If you listen very closely, you can hear that they are actually quite similar-sounding...

Dude, just fuck off. I've been quiet for all the allegations of "ripoffs" ITG songs ripping off DDR songs, but this one... I just can't keep quiet and watch this poopy any longer.

Did you even listen to the two songs? They are NOTHING alike. I mean, I honestly can't even comprehend how you would consider that Bumble Bee sounds anything like Bumble Bee. Are you sure you didn't click the Bumble Bee MP3 twice instead of selecting Bumble Bee the second time?

Idiots like you hurt my head.

^haha, are you serious? You do know that Bumblebee from ITG is the same song as Bumblebee from 5th mix, right?

Char definitely can't detect internet sarcasm

I guess it's worth posting again.

Also, July -euromix- (Hard) has a whole section taken straight out of Movin' On (Maniac). The similarities are certainly interesting to find, but ultimately they don't really matter.
