I take it you don't like to try new things very often...

this has to be the dumbest idea ever. I'm sorry, i'll take normal DDR than having to wear some special suit while trying to avoid fire.

It's just stupid.

I would agree. I don't care what suit you're in, it would be a sweaty and miserable event.

Yeah for feeling slimey.

So the odds of seeing a video are still zero? I wanted to see a video last year too. Did people at least do funny stuff like pick Night of Fire I hope? (Insert other funny jokes from the previous thread here.)

Burning Heat!

You could hook ITG up to this, and cause flames to shoot up near the arrows when you hit mines. That is, if the suit protects you from that direction.

I'd give it a shot if I was absolutely positive I wouldn't get injured, if for nothing else to say I did it. The safety plan is important and reassuring. Damnit, why is all the wacky DDR stuff far away from me?

Hmm if Caffy drives really really fast we might get to go to this... >_>
I mean fire-based stuff in general rules, I'd go just for that, but with DDR? heh awesome

If you feel fire safety is an issue, please check the safety page on the DDI site.

No one died nor passed out. So there.

And the pr0n button is evil.

And boo to no XL pants available.

That is all.

Kinda' cool watching that one dude's helmet nearly catch fire tho'. Operative word being, NEARLY. E15.gif

at first i thought it was dumb. now it seems more interesting (even though barely anything changed from when i thought it was dumb). i don't really like the suits, and i probably wouldn't play it. would be interesting to watch.

off topic, a ddr machine that would spray water would be interesting (i have an odd obsession with water), though i don't see that happening with it making the pad slippery and electricity.

Vids!

One of the organizers, Skippy, playing DDR for the very first time on DDI. She loved it! Though she may need to work on the whole arrow-stomping thing...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYOjNZlb86E
Rubin110 playing DDI! He was actually comboing the hell out of the song, when the operator at the time decided enough was enough, and hit the manual controls to blast him.

Enjoy!

I'd totally go play if I would ever get a freaking day off, sigh. Playing with fire is fun! Little kids shouldn't play with fire, big NO NO.

Woof.

Thanks to anyone who came out during the Fire Arts Festival. Here's a short video of the fire madness going on.

Anybody got a DDI theme for stepmania? Not planning to set up flamethrowers in my house or anything like that, but I'd like to have the graphics.
