Will doubles work with a CF V1 and CF V2??????

I don't know much about doubles. Right now I have a CF V2 w/ mod and a friend is trying to pawn off a V1 on me for a small price. Would I be able to play doubles with them the same as I would with dual V2s?

Yes.

Doubles is just two controllers, you could play doubles with a homemade pad and a $10 softpad if you wanted, but the height difference could be killer. =P

So assuming that the height on the V1 and V2 pads are the same or close enough, you should be fine. And assuming the doubles bar from CF works on V1 pads, but since you never get the option to specify, I assume it'll still work fine.
