Konami has officially launched the US version of its KonamiStyle.com online store. While the offerings aren't as diverse as the well-known Japanese site, hopefully Konami will be expanding the bonuses and extras available through their store to reward their loyal customers.

Bonuses and extras would be nice, I'm not sure I see any incentive at the moment to use this over other stores. There's also the fact I already own a lot of the games they're selling there. Also I don't see any pre-ordering. It's a start though I guess. might as well set up an account

I'd be mainly interested in getting OSTs off a North American based KonamiStyle. Shame that the US DDR's don't have OST's, but maybe they'll stock V-Rares or something for the next mixes? I wonder if there'll be anything special for beatmania.

Just another way of Konami trying to seem like they are covering their bases.

Ill be impressed when they actualy have more then 100 products for sale. Or we see some preordering options maybe for Beatmania US? Or what about a KoC? Forget our chances of seeing ASCs as there arent supposed to be any aracde machines in the US. maybe it will be a Super controler or somthing but I dont expect much out of it.

Well, ya know, it's a start. Seems like a basic skeleton is up in place now and maybe we will start to see some web-exclusives and other interesting orders (hopefully some collectibles) in the future. Give it time, I suppose...

I know that this has nothing to do with DDR but... Interesting though there was no page for the Suikoden Series blink.gif ... well I guess maybe browsing the site it looks like they don't print 4 anymore. But there's still tactics and even the Gradius page had just one thing on it E10.gif

I searched for it and they didn't even have DDR: Mario Mix. I know it's not exactly the mainstream DDR game but I would think it would be up there, being fairly new.

That may actually be true.

I work in a toys r us Rzone, after our first shipment we have not recieved one copy since.

The thing is as rare as an Xbox 360, but not useless like an Xbox 360.

HELL YES!! biggrin.gif

They only thing they have right now that GameStop doesn't, is Gradius. Which is great because that's the only non-rhythm game that I wanted. E1.gif

Someone needs to buy something and tell me what the price of the three shipping options are. And I need to know if my debit card works in place of the required credit card, too. If they have a help page where they explain that then I guess I missed it.

This is a great site... but there's a problem I noticed about it. Everytime I enter the website, my Norton Internet Security alerts me and tells me the following:

Securite Alert
!Medium Risk!

Norton Internet Security has detected and clocked an intrusion attempt.

Details
Time: 3:52 PM PST
Date: 12/14/2005
Intrusion: HTTP Apache Redundant Slashes DoS.
Intruder: localhost(1313)
Risk Level: Medium
Attacked IP: www.konamistyle.com(63.241.72.5)
Attacked Port: http(80)

Yeah, the site is hecka' cool but this site/IP tried to send some kind of huge virus or something... the site attacked my comp trying to send unwanted data to it. So I'm just telling those others who don't have Norton Internet Security... be aware of this website cause it's sending out unwanted data.
