ok guys ive never played ITG before, ive played alot of ddr but never ITG. But ITG looks alot better then ddr so i wanna start to play it. But before i do i have a few questions

1. R the timeing windows for the home version the same as the arcade
2. Will getting better in ITG help me get better in DDR (stupid quesion i know)
3. R the 10's in ITG harder then the 10's in DDR (I Know the difficulty goes up to 13 so maybe the 10's r easier). How bout 11 and 12's compared to 10's in ddr

all these questions (except for the home version question, to which the answer is yes) are answered in the "new ITG players, read here" thread, which you can find here.

if you ask me the main thing that makes the 11 and 12 footers so hard is that seeing the arrows is hard. and sometimes theyre offbeat, esample UTOPIA, the string of right arrows at the beginning. im sure the mines play a factor too but to me it looks like they were once the original stepd for the song but just got changed.

I think you're insane. Don't look at Utopia for an example of an 11, look at Xuxa. Play the song on 2x or so if you're used to DDR 10s. It's a lot like a DDR 10, but with some really brutal streams in the middle. It's not just reading that makes them difficult.

A better example is Hardcore of the North expert. Play that, and tell me the main thing that makes it hard is reading it. Back to back 1/16th streams at 170ish BPM? That's faster than TLoM, and the streams keep running for longer, as well. I can read it easily on 1x (most people play 2x-3x though), but the song is still damn hard just to play.

In conclusion: You're insane. Bye.

i was making custom songs that would be like 11 or 12 footers on the itg scale with ddrmax, max 2 and extreme long before itg was even planned for ps2 release(iv never played it at the arcade) so as long as you have the endurance/stamina, etc. songs like those wont bother you as far as performing the beats. i cant AA (star/s+ whatever)them but i can play them reasonably well. Actualy i have problems with liquid moon but thats ok.

No offense, but before saying that Euphoria is no problem if you have Stamina, might want to try breaking, say, 90% on it.
