In this thread, please post what type of music helps you feel the beat when dancing (obviously when playing DDR). Please only post TYPES of music. For me it's techno, the beeps and noises help get the rhythm.

Any song in which the arrows go clearly to the music, and the only track is the one that the arrows are going to. Now, you said not to do this, but I'm talking about Tsugaru. That really loud... thing... that's playing goes perfectly with the steps.

Meh, this makes no sense, I'm sick. T_T

Dude, If U take the steps from So Deep and transfer them to Look To The Sky (Ture Color Mix) It goes perfectly.

This might be hard to explain, but in So Deep there is a part where id does this (by arrows): triple, single, triple, single, double in a stream. Then it will go to triple, single, triple, single, triple in a stream. Well th first time it makes that transition the verse that the Lady is singing in Look To The Sky even changes. It kinda freaky.

If u start the steps to So Deep right where the steps begin on Look To The Sky, they will even end at the same time.

Any song where the arrows follow the synth. Mainly trance, oriental songs.

Rock.

Daikenkai has a beat that really sticks in your head, as does Ska a go go.

Maybe it is because I am so used to hearing rock drummers, but that is just really easy for me to stick to.

Too bad the live-band-ness throws off the syncing disturb.gif

I stand firmly by my postion that the arrows match the beat for every song. Techno type beats seem to make it easiest, but no song has truly chaotic or random arrow patterns; they all make rythmic sense.

techo is my favorite because the beat really stands out and it makes it easier to step to.

What could help you stay more on beat than a bassline to make yer arse cave in?

Ex. Afronova Primeval, Tsugaru Apple Mix.
