I was listening to some of the songs off of the website for the game, and the songs sound like those found off of flash flash revolution (dance category.) I don't know, but some of the songs just don't seem feel like real songs, but rather interesting noises compiled to a beat. What are your thoughts (note I haven't gotten to hear all of the songs, because I haven't actually been able find an ITG near my house. You can bitch about this if you want, but then you should buy me an ITG unit so I can try it out and give an answer with a better knowledge of the songs)

I played FFR once. It sucked. A lot.

as such, I cannot do anything here but voice my distaste for FFR. honestly, penalizing extra steps? bull.

True, but if they didn't then any idiot could repeatedly mash their keyboard and beat every song. But some of FFR's stuff is so frigging difficult if you seriously try to play it correctly and not bs the runs. For example, Flight of the Bumblebee or most of the classical song selection is insane. (unless you mash keyboard)

no, according to the FAQ it's because the maker just doesn't like people who do that. It's stupid.

laugh.gif That's what we call Techno or noise music and those are the best, so sure.

FFR has some ok song, but ITG songs sounds much better IMO.

I really like ITG's music as it is varied. FFR is varied but the only song I play is CIA Rave, as that's the only song I really like.

ITG > FFR music.

hehehe

I was about to say : Well maybe ITG2, but not ITG one, because I tried pretty much all the songs I think, and I didn't find a single one like on FFR.

I bet the truth is closer to the fact that when the clown first made FFR he didn't know how to change the system. It was an intended change, but he never got around to it, I suppose. I remember the thread, back when "FFR" was 4 individually linked flash files on the makers' webspace.
