You cant totally rely on ebgames for dates. But its a good starting point.
Madcatz says august. ebgames says august 17, of course a week ago the ebgames had it listed as august 31. ebgames tends to push thing back several dates later, so it kind of perks my interest when they adjust things in the opposite direction.

I know that nothing's final with EB, but I'm glad that's in the system so I can use some of the credit I have to get it before I spend it on something else.

Also, check this listing out from GameStop. Looks like they dropped Exceed from the title since it's not present on the name or the cover art.

Gamestop has the Xbox version with the "EXCEED" on the end while the PS2 lacks it. Also, they changed the cover AGAIN to the Korean version.

Well I asked my local ebgames store if they'd have the game for ps2 and they said yes so I pre-ordered it

Again, EB pull the same exact crap they did with Space Channel 5: Special Edition. List it weeks before GameStop(and the realistic) release date, and then magically push it back the day before their claimed date, until -guess what!- it's the same as the competition's.

It's especially annoying now though; I almost believed them this time around.

I already got mine.

Props to Andamiro for not changing a damn thing in the game itself.
Regardless of what the outside packaging looks like, ALL the original graphics & logos from Exceed are in the game. Two thumbs up. I even changed it to Korean in my copy

The retailers can never seem to follow the rules, and misinformation is common. Just look, for example, at Gamestop's site listings for it:

From the PlayStation2 platform to the X-Box, they cannot agree on the information about the game, even listing different publishers, lol. Even the titles are different.

So, I'm not surprised if one retailer, or one store, screws up and sells it a day or two early, or whatever. I'd check my local store every day, if I were you, even if they say it's not due until next week, lol.

Haha, yeah, I saw that. You're the second person I know that already has theirs.

Andamiro didn't really have that much of a say in the design of this home version, I hear, so hat's off to Mastiff for taking the time to do it right.

I hear you get Korean (language) characters on the song title cards in the Korean mode, lol. Is it true?

Yea. The entire game is fully intact. There's a language option in the menu. I knew this considering I have the Korean version too.
