No. People can do songs without a bar you know. -_-

Much like ddr max+ are there "red" songs that are special or unique?
( max 300, unlimited etc.) like that are the most challenging based on whatever scoring system you used?

Will any of the notoriously offsync songs (Fly with Me, Mythology, Drifting Away, etc.) be fixed for the PS2 release?

And I too would like to know the reason(s) behind the lack of USB support.

From Bemani Nation.com

Other than on the Internet and word of mouth how do you plan on marketing this game?

Will we see ad's on TV or maybe hear ad's on the radio? Also, are you concerned that some of the expert step charts may not be possible to be preformed @ home on any type of pad without the support of a bar?

The reason I ask is because i've noticed that most players seem to depend on the bar for 13 footers.

I already saw an advertisement printed in an anime magazine, can't remember what it was.

Q. Can we have more details on the staff behind this project? I'm very interested as to who did the background videos, concept design, interface, etc.

Thanks, Mr. Tam. I've never seen that before... I have something new to look out for next time I head to the arcade.

Are you guys going to make a mix with a much more diverse musical choice, and possibly get freestyle somewhat a resurection? The freestylists feel quite jaded and somewhat allinated by the latest dance games comming out all the way back the DDR Max. Or is it the pure direction to just the PA players and pushing more challenge.

A disgruntled freestyler

To further the freestyle-based question, do you think there will be any sort of national competition to promote this, say on an ITG2 machine or on the home release of ITG? Such as some sort of joint thing with Best Buy or GameStop for home releases or GameWorks or Namco Entertainment for arcades or something?

Of course, this also includes a Score based tournament, not just freestyle, but I'm more of a freestyler than a score guy anyway.

Will there be any way to turn off the non-directional buttons for while you are playing?

I know this is probably a question on many people's minds. I play on a CF pad, and DDR EX usa just sits on the shelf because it's practically unplayable (or at least not worth it for me if i'm gonna get random almosts and crap like that.)

All arcade songs from ITG1 will be on the home version of ITG. The only songs that are from DDR are Bumblebee and Sunshine, where Sunshine is a renamed song of (Sunshine something '78 or the other, you know from 4th Mix) which are in ITG2. There are four songs that aren't known and I'm guessing that they are from ITG2. I don't know if it's going to be Bumblebee or Sunshine though. Liquid Moon is definitely going to be on the mix and doesn't count in the 4 secret songs count.

All the timing windows will be the same from the arcade. Oh and please note that the information I am saying is from ITGFreak's various stickies and announcements.

Why are the songs so terrible? LOL
Why are you selling stepmania?
Why do all Smiley songs sound the same?

Game sucks.

This is why we need Konami original songs.

Worst questions ever. -_- I think mods should check this thread for trolling.

Smiley's songs sound similar because they're of the same music genre which is happy hardcore. They are not selling StepMania. -_- The songs aren't bad. In my opinion, ITG has better songs then DDR.

I severely doubt it, because they are built into the game play. This is just a guess.

Any answers to the freestyle questions above?

It would be wrong to alienate certain players, not everyone plays for scoring.
